Common questions

Blocking isn’t working

GetOffThatScreen needs Apple’s Screen Time permission to block apps. Open the App → Settings → Privacy and tap “Grant Screen Time access”. If you tapped “Don’t Allow” earlier, you can re-enable it in iOS Settings → Screen Time. Blocking works on a real iPhone, not in a simulator.

The AI coach says it’s offline

The coach needs an internet connection. If it stays offline, check your connection and try again in a moment.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Manage or cancel any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Restore a purchase

On the paywall, tap “Restore Purchases” while signed into the same Apple ID you bought with.

Delete your data

Your screen-time data never leaves your device. To remove your shared group data, use Settings → Privacy → “Delete my shared group data”. To erase everything, use “Reset all data”, or delete the App.

Groups & reporting

Join a group with a 6-character invite code. You can hide or report any member from the group screen. To report someone by email, include the group name and the member’s name and message us above.
